Vegetable offset scheme proposed

This will be tasty chutney. And I'm eating it on your behalf - now its your turn,

Having an allotment is great, we have access to beetroot greens whenever we want them, we can pick green toms to have with our marrow glut in chutney.

However, it does sadly mean that I’m visiting our local greengrocer less and haven’t been to the farmers market in yonks. Perhaps we could operate some sort of vegetable offset scheme. If you could switch your supermarket veg buying to the local greengrocer or farmers market, I’ll eat a marrow on your behalf. Honest.

Small ad: the Ashton-under-Lyne Farmers’ Market opens on the last Sunday of the Month.  Its well worth a visit.
